Dave contacted the Prefab Museum in November 2019 to ask about an Arcon MkV prefab he intended to purchase. Dave said the Arcon had three bedrooms and I suggested it may have been reconstructed from more than one dismantled Arcon prefab. I forwarded the link to the Arcon erection manual so Dave could better understand the structure.
In June this year Dave sent some photos of the interior of the prefab which he had bought and refurbished. You can see the original cupboards and the rolled steel frame of the Arcon inside the roof.
Many thanks to Dave for adding to the Prefab Museum knowledge.

Looks like an amazing transformation!
Are all these prefabs steel framed? Are they all Arcons?
I am interested in one that is currently for sale – how can I find out its construction and what needs to be done to maintain it please?
Do any of them contain asbestos?
Thanks
