Prefabs featured in 1946 film Once a Jolly Swagman

FILM: Once a Jolly Swagman – 1946

We thought that you might be interested.

Here at ReelStreets.com we endeavor to establish locations that have been used in commercially distributed films. For some years we have been baffled by a location in this film that showed a bombed church and prefab houses. Needless to say we did use your Website in an effort to establish the location. However, a contributor has very recently established the location of church and the fact that it was rebuilt. We now know that the location of the children playing in the bomb rubble and approaching the prefabs was in Avondale Square, Camberwell, London SE1. It would appear that the location of the prefabs is unknown to you and we thought that you might wish to add them to your map database. That there is good footage of the prefabs could also be of interest and record to you. The link to our appropriate film page is https://www.reelstreets.com/films/once-a-jolly-swagman/

I hope that this is of as much interest to you as it has been to us.

We all have our niche!
